Shame on you

 Well, my critical online reviews of Papa Joe's Appliance Repair just got the attention of the owner, who divulged my personal information (name, address, and phone number) as promised.

He also intimated that he would have his lawyer contact me if I do not remove the reviews - providing the name and contact information for said lawyer.

I am experiencing a business owner - of Papa Joe's Appliance Repair - who repeatedly responds to critical Google reviews with personal name, address, and phone number of the reviewer - derived from their customer records.


I believe this is against Google's content policy, and seek help in having the retaliatory responses from the owner removed.

The business is a small "mom and pop" operation run out of their home - I know this from conversations with the owner while he was at my residence. They have created and manage numerous business "locations" online, seemingly to optimize search engine results.

Many of the "locations" have received other negative reviews that the business owner responded to in a similar fashion.

How can I get Google to remove these responses and protect the identity / personal information of this business' customers?

As an aside, the same business owner also seems to be a rampant abuser of online review sites like Google and Yelp, leaving stellar reviews for his own business / establishing shell accounts to do the same. This behavior has been previously noted and possibly partially addressed on this forum: https://support.google.com/business/thread/16650717?hl=en
